So, apparently my car’s new favorite light is the “check engine,” and I’ve visited Michael’s Auto Repair so many times that I’m expecting them to invite me to Thanksgiving dinner next year. Anyone else here get the impression that they’re running a secret club with a membership punch card (buy 10 repairs, get a free AAA tow)?
Does anyone actually ever leave with less problems than they arrived with, or is it just me getting the VIP treatment? Would love to know if you folks have had the pleasure-and by pleasure, I mean the empty-wallet, still-squeaky-brakes kind of joy that Michael’s seems to specialize in.
P.S. Should I just sign the car over to them and start walking, or has anyone actually driven away with a working vehicle?
