So apparently, my car is a magnet for stray shopping carts, falling acorns, and possibly low-flying UFOs with bad aim. Naturally, I’m now investigating the magical world of mobile dent removal, because dragging my ride to a body shop one more time will lead to me declaring bankruptcy or just weeping openly in the waiting area (again).
Here’s my question: Is mobile dent removal just a fancy way of saying “some dude with a plunger and a YouTube account,” or is it actually legit wizardry? Has anyone found these folks to be miracle workers, or is it just lots of pushing, popping, and promises they’ll "come back if it doesn’t look right in a week”?
And, bonus points: What’s the weirdest thing you’ve ever seen used in a mobile dent fix? Because I need entertainment while I contemplate a paintless future for my car’s panels.
