Hello,
I have a Hyundai Elantra 2015 (gasoline). I’m experiencing an intermittent issue.
When the car is in park or neutral, if I press the accelerator hard and then suddenly release it, the engine shakes and the RPM fluctuates for a moment. This does not happen every time, only occasionally.
I also notice:
Sometimes slight vibration at idle
While driving at steady speed (around 60–70 km/h), the throttle sometimes feels weak and then suddenly responds
No Check Engine Light is on

Sounds like classic throttle body gunk or a sticky TPS on those 4th-gen Elantras-super common around 80-100k miles. No CEL doesn’t rule it out; scan for pending codes with an OBD2 reader anyway. Clean the TB first (easy DIY with carb cleaner), and check your air filter. Mileage/maintenance history? If it’s not that, could be a vac leak. Fixed mine same way.
